Oscar Lopez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he attended art school and was a professional basketball player. He was trained by his father as a custom upholsterer, moved to the United States in 1969 and became a U.S. citizen. He started his own business in Arcadia in the 1970's and has been serving the San Dimas and surrounding communities along with his family since 1984. Oscar brings old world craftsmanship to his work from his home country where he was trained in the European style.
